1. This prize draw promotion is open to all residents of the United Arab Emirates aged 18 or over, except employees of the promoter and their respective immediate families, promoter’s agencies and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion. Participants must submit entries in a personal capacity on their own behalf and not be sent in through agents or third parties. Winners will be required to provide proof of age.

2. A purchase is not required to enter this promotion.

3. Maximum one entry is permitted per person per day.

4. To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, the participant must provide a valid email address, register for a MyDEWALT account (free registration) and have internet access.

5. Maximum one prize is permitted per person per promotional month (runs 15^th of the month to 14^th of the month).

6. Promotion Period: The Promotion opens at 00:01 on 15^th March 2024 and closes at 23:59 on 14 November 2024.

1. Scan QR code or visit the DEWALT website and click on the promotional banner.
2. You will be redirected to the promotional microsite where you will be instructed to PLAY NOW.
3. You will then be redirected to MyDEWALT website to log in or register for an account. If you need to register for an account, registration is granted immediately upon application. The following information is needed for a MyDEWALT account: name, email address, country, and trade.
4. Once you’ve logged in to your account, you will be redirected to the promotional microsite and prompted to ‘smash the concrete’.
5. If you win – an image of the prize you have won will appear and you will be invited to submit your details (email / full name / delivery address).
6. Participants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this promotion.
7. Entries must be received on or before 14 November 2024. Entries received after this date will not be entered in the promotion.
8. All winners will be verified as described in Section 10 and once verified an email will be sent confirming prize is on its way.

   The allocation of the prizes through the promotional months are as set out below:

10. Upon verification of a winning entry, prizes will be dispatched within 28 days. Verification is based on confirmation of age, and provision of a valid postal address for delivery within the United Arab Emirates. Prize delivery will be by post or courier.
    
    
11. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. Prizes are not for re-sale. At the promoter’s discretion, the prize shall be replaced by another prize of equal or greater value if in all reasonable circumstances the promoter is unable to provide the intended benefits. The decision is taken by the promoter and is final in all matters. No correspondence will be entered into.

12. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on claiming a prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects delivery of their prize.

13. Tax: All participants shall bear any applicable taxes incurred arising out of the Prize awarded pursuant to the Promotion. Unless otherwise provided for in these terms and conditions, winners will be responsible for all costs associated with the Prizes.
    

14. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected using an independently verified algorithm which will randomly distribute the prizes across the Promotional Period. There will be 556 winners in quarter one and 513 winners in quarter two and three. Winner verification is as described in clause 10 above. Although all prizes are available to be won, there is no guarantee all prizes will be won.

15. Winner notification: Winners will find out if they have won by seeing an onscreen message informing them if they have won and what they have won immediately for Instant Win. If win is valid, the winner will be notified via an onscreen message as described above, and the winner’s prize will be dispatched within the timeframe as set out in clause 10 above. Winners will be asked to confirm they are over 18 years old and to provide a delivery address.

18. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

19. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entries to protect itself against fraudulent, invalid or repetitive entries including, without limitation, their age (via means of appropriate photographic identification). The promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.

20. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or invalid entries, or entries not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The promoter does not accept responsibility for equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, server, network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay a participant’s entry to the promotion and does not accept proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the promotion.  Incomplete entries will not be processed.

21. The promoter reserves the right to vary, suspend or cancel the promotion and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice if it considers it necessary or appropriate to do so, and any amendment to these terms and conditions will be found on www.dewalt.se/promo/terms-and-conditions. In the event of cancellation, the prize may be awarded to a winner drawn from entries received prior to cancellation.
    

22. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter (including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures) which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion), the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to modify or suspend any relevant element of the Promotion as it deems necessary with no liability to entrants or third parties. In these circumstances the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

23. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law the promoter and its associate companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
    1. any postponement or cancellation of the promotion, and
    2. any changes to, supply of, or use of the prize, and
    3. any act or default of any third-party supplier, which are beyond the promoter’s reasonable control.

24. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

25. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any problems associated with internet or communication networks due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.

26. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect. The Promotor’s failure to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not constitute a waiver of that provision.
    

27. Jurisdiction: The Promotion and its terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. SBD and all participants in the Promotion hereby submit to arbitration pursuant to the Dubai courts in the determination of any matter or dispute arising in connection therewith. These terms and conditions are not intended to confer rights to any third party to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions.
